Traffic Light - Orange - 15 April 2022
Changing to ORANGE settings - scanning is not required however we still have our QR code available for you to scan if you wish, wear a face covering & keep 1m from staff at all times when visiting the showroom/factory.
Supply Update - 31 March 2022
We are told Omicron has peaked in Auckland, which if true hopefully translates into a move back to some normality. EWS didn’t avoid the virus though and for a 2 week period our factory almost came to a standstill with staff isolating. We are now almost back to full capacity and are endeavouring to make up for the lost time. However, we are still in a global pandemic and this is impacting material supplies for us, and the construction industry generally.
What does this mean to your upcoming order?
We traditionally operated on an average 3 week lead time from signoff to site for most jobs. Since the last lockdown this has on average expanded to 5 weeks and those 5 weeks has recently been additionally impacted by the 2 week period of reduced resource in the factory.
How can you help us?
If you have an estimate when your job is ready for a site measure please let us know as soon as possible so we can optimise our production scheduling. Because the 5 weeks starts when all details are confirmed you can compress the time between site measure, materials order and joinery supply to site if signoff is only subject to the site measure, i.e. all colours, hardware, glass & door panel selections are already confirmed prior to the measure. To potentially save time we can, in certain circumstances, do “agreed sizes” off the plans so if you think you job would work this way let us know.
It is unprecedented for us that we are booking so far in advance and if all jobs go ahead as currently scheduled that means we are booking for early August. If you have jobs that you know you are going to be in the position of wanting joinery before Christmas then please contact us so we can plan our production scheduling as the remaining months will fill up quickly.

Supply Update - 15 March 2022
Like many other Auckland businesses, Elite Window Solutions is now managing the isolation requirements of the Omicron outbreak.
This week we have started seeing a percentage of staff away isolating. This has resulted in delays throughout the business, predominately in the manufacturing of joinery.
Our suppliers are still managing the same isolation requirements and are suffering decreased productivity.
We pride ourselves on meeting agreed delivery timelines with our customers. However at this time we are unable to provide firm dates on delivery.
As we are sure you can appreciate we are hopeful that the outbreak will reach its peak soon so that we can get back to a reasonable capacity in our factory and our suppliers can do the same.
We are doing everything we can to minimise the impact and apologise for any inconvenience this will cause.

Supply Update - 03 March 2022
Now that Omicron is firmly entrenched in our communities and with COVID supply impacts hitting hard we are writing to advise of our current situation and the foreseeable future.
Many of our suppliers are struggling with diminished staff numbers and their own suppliers being unable to supply to them.
NZ freight companies have now been severely impacted with the pandemic and as such have ceased operation of anything other than critical freight around Auckland.
Currently our production schedule is fully booked up to mid June 2022 however under the current Covid climate our approximate production dates are changing on a daily basis.
We have been fortunate that as of today our factory is still running at 100%, this in all likelihood will change though as Omicron pushes further into our direct community.
How does this affect your order?
The supply disruptions are affecting our ability complete orders in the traditional manner. Our 3-week lead time from measure is now a thing of the past. We are currently projecting 5 weeks upwards from site measure for an order and even this is only if we can get all the supplies needed to complete your order.
What can you expect from us?
We will continue to update you on your orders progress and the pandemic impacts to our supply.
In order to get your joinery delivered as promptly as possible you may find we extend the option of split deliveries to you and some items may require some finishing on site at a later date.
What is needed from customers?
As always, we ask that you contact us if you are experiencing other delays that will affect the timing of your joinery supply.

Traffic Light Framework - 02 December 2021
With the news we are moving to the traffic light framework on Friday 03 December, we have updated our requirements for visiting the showroom.
At this stage, we are not mandated for vaccination certificates, but if this changes, we will update you.
